Reflections, No. 5: Plato’s play-dough

Culvert Road arch finds a friend of ideal form in the water that has trickled down the inside of the walls. Culvert Road is the only subterranean crossing along the Erie Canal. The crossing is between Medina and Albion, New York. 07October08. ((Black-and-white photo of the crossing))
